Silver Dollar City

Silver Dollar City is a little amusement park/craft festival. I have a lot of memories of going there when I was younger, so it was fun to go back and see it all again. They have lots of shows and several roller coasters:) Mom and I enjoyed going on the rollercoasters and Dad enjoyed having someone to hang out with while we rode the rides. It was so nice to be able to walk right up to the ride and not have to wait in line. I did make a giant mistake early in the day that set the course for lots of teasing...I rode a ride that spins you in circles (never a good idea) and for the rest of the day, my stomach was queasy. Nevertheless, I chose to ride the rides anyways (hey, when would I get the chance to do it again anytime soon?) and my last rollercoaster of the day ended up with me puking my guts out on the way out of the ride. Needless to say, my parents got a great laugh out of that...oh well...stupid spiny ride.

The rest of the day was nice, looking at crafts and watching Noah people watch. He had fun and actually slept for 3 hours while we walked around the park. We ended up getting rained out and went home to relax and watch a movie.
Here are the pics from our adventure (& no, there are no pictures of me reviewing my lunch):)

His personality is really starting to shine through:)

Okay, so the truth comes out...the only way we could put the glasses on him is if I hold his hand:)

These were for Mommy's benefit, not Noah, but doesn't he still look cute in butterflies!?!

Dad brushed up on his milking skills.

Noni was telling Noah all about the rides she would take him on someday

Emy and Mom enjoying the fun....

Noah, crashed out in his stroller from all the excitement!

Waiting out the rain.

Noah hates to have anything on his head, Davey Crocket hat included.

Hey, who turned out the lights?!?!

He also really hates anything squishy and slimy...just look how far he went to get away from it:)

I went to Indiana Beach and the first ride I rode was a spinny one, and I was queasy the rest of the day too. Fortunatley, I was able to digest my lunch. For some strange reason Emily, I cannot picture you loosing your lunch!
