Kansas part 2, the wedding

The whole point of the trip to Kansas was for my cousins wedding. It was great time to be with everyone and celebrate.
And what a great reason to get a whole family picture. What do you think?
I know its obvious that I love pictures and I couldn't help but include a picture of each of my brothers and their wives. I am so blessed to have them as my family. Our trip was a great way to spend quality time with them and watch as they interacted with my children. And I have to say I am grateful to them for the love and attention that each of them gave to the boys. Thank you!!! And we love you and already miss you!!!
Uncle Robb and Auntie Mel
Uncle Danny and Uncle Katy:)
Uncle Mikey and Auntie Meghan
And we couldn't get through the wedding without a family picture too.
Wait...what was that. Yes, that was Breven munching away on Daddy's tie.
Here's another picture that CRACKS me up. I love Noah's face!
And whats a wedding post without a pic of the happy couple. BTW-my mom made the cake!:)
The drive back
It was a fun but long car ride back to Nonni and Papa's house. We had so much fun traveling together and making faces at each other from either car.
Noah was really happy that Uncle Robb finished his magazine in time for Noah to get a glance at it too.
Stopped off a rest stop for a break and left just before a major storm hit. The clouds were even circling around us!
Trying to get all the wiggles out before getting back in the car.:)

Kansas part 1

We spent part of our vacation in Kansas with my Dad's family. It was such a busy time, but we has so much fun spending some time with the family, seeing the area and hanging out as a family. This was the first time my immediate family got this much time together. And we had so much fun!
Do they look excited to be in Kansas, or what?!?:)
Great Grandma D and Noah. It was fun to see them talking together.
And with both boys! Can you believe she's 96!
Auntie Meghan and Breven getting to spend a moment together.
The beautiful (but super humid) Kansas countryside. Its fun to see where my dad grew up. The barn below is from my Dad's house growing up.
We tried to set off some fireworks in the fields. Noah wasn't so sure about it. And as it turns out, the 'fireworks trash' we threw into a burn pile wasn't completely used up. When my Uncle went to set it on fire, several leftover fireworks went off and surprised my Aunt and Uncle! Whoops!
I know Aaron is going to kill me for putting this picture on, but it CRACKS me up! I love that Aaron is silly enough to wear whatever Noah puts on him, and that Breven has a strong grip on that pacifier even though Noah is trying to take it with all his might!:)
Papa is still good at putting the boys to sleep! I love this picture!
And there is something special about watching your little boy playing with the same toys that you played with everytime you went to visit your Grandma growing up.
Noah trying to play catch with Grandma
And giving zerberts to Uncle Danny.
This is how I feel I spent much of the weekend. Behind a sheet, giving a little boy his meal. But in reality, it was just a blip in the weekend. Thanks, Dad for taking pictures of me for the blog too!:)
These 2 were often on the same wave length.

Tractors

Have I mentioned how much I like Tractors?
No? Let me tell you....
Growing up near fields has given me a chance to see tractors from afar. But this time...I got to sit in them!
Look:
This one's a combine.
It was so big and scary to ride in, but fun all at the same time.
And I got to sit on a couple of other ones too. Here's a mowing tractor,
And this is a smaller tractor.
And its like they always say...
Like father,
Like son!

4 wheeling

Daddy brought me this special helmet to try on. Then he told me we were going somewhere special...
4-wheeling!!!! Don't I look like a natural?!?!
Breven got to come along too, but he couldn't actually ride the 4-wheelers since he was too little.
Uncle Flip Flops a great teacher. I can almost ride one by myself! Now...how to get them to let me...hmm...
Poppi and I got to go on a ride together.
It took me a minute to figure out how to eat with this huge helmet on, but eventually, I figured it out.
See...look how easy it is! We had a great ride and it was so relaxing, I almost fell asleep!
Mommy and I had fun too.
And have I mentioned that I love my daddy?
This was the whole group that went 4 wheeling. Poppi, Isaac, Uncle Micah, Uncle Flip Flop, Mommy, Daddy and me!

4th of July

My friend and cousin, Gladys caught this on camera! What a gorgeous reminder for us of God's promise.
One of the few times you'll see Noah willingly holding hands with someone. And one of the few times you'll see him holding a girls hand before he's 35!:)
Uncle Flip Flops great at the "under dog'!
He's also great for helping Noah view a different vantage point
My love and I
If I can borrow the title that Gladys used...when you look this good, who cares that they're pink!
Cousins!
And part of our group from the 4th (minus a few important people:))
