My first ride

MY FIRST RIDE

Hi! I wanted to show you my new car. Isn't it a sweet ride?

Hey, I know its used but a kids got to start somewhere, right?

This is me in my low riding position, what do you think? Don't I look cool?

Hmm...what else can I tell you about my car?!?!

OH, I know! This is what I want to do once Mommy lets me go fast.

Think I can catch any ladies in this?

Here's what people will see when I fly by 'em.

And hopefully I won't ever get pulled over. But just in case, I've been practicing my "I'm really sorry, Officer" face. Think it will work?

WAIT! Don't go... There's still more to show you.

Umm...I forgot. Guess I'll have to show you next time.

BYE!!!

What a BEAUTIFUL weekend! The temps were in the 70's and 80's with barely a cloud in the sky. I was soaking in all the sun! And the weekend only improved when Aunt Marlene and Uncle Mike came from Illinois. We had so much fun hanging out with family and playing with Noah. Sadly the weekend went so quickly, but hopefully we'll see you again soon, AM & UM:)
Noah, like every other baby has good days and off days:) Recently, he's had a lot more off days than good days. But this weekend, he went down for every nap with minimal fuss and was generally happy all day both days. I have finally concluded that he was trying to impress his Auntie and Uncle:) But regardless of the reason, we were happy to see Noah playing so happily and enjoying himself too:)
Auntie Marlene and Uncle Mike with Noah:)
Who says I need to go somewhere to have his picture taken professionally:) He just naturally knows what to do :)
I just love his big brown eyes:)

Noah loves hugs and being loved, which he enjoyed a lot of this weekend.

He has discovered his feet:) Now the big toe is the new thumb:)

Auntie Marlene enjoys some bonding time with Noah while giving him his bottle.

Come see me again soon, Auntie and Uncle:):)

We were preparing for a visit from Aaron's parents this weekend but sadly the trip needed to be cancelled. We sure hope Papa Medeiros is feeling better! We will miss not having you here Poppi and Lolli!!!! To help ease the "pain" of not being able to hold Noah for a few more weeks, we thought we'd give you a couple "views" into the life of Noah:) Enjoy!

Time is flying right by...the weather is slowing getting warmer and Noah and I are trying to take advantage of it during the day and take lots of walks. He is really starting to explore his world. He is making lots of noises and starting to really laugh. I find my self trying to find new ways to hear him laugh:) (Basically, I get to play all day:))

Noah is discovering another way to stand and play:)
Look, Ma...I can sit all by myself

He loves to lay on his monkey rug in his room. Its the one place I can put him no matter his mood and he'll play happily by himself.

He already looks comfy as he tries out his new seat.

TV, poses and helper

This picture cracks me up! I'm not quite sure what kind of face that is:) But I love that it looks like he's trying to cross his arms-they're just not long enough yet:)
After a weekend of cranky Noah (hey, everyone has their off days, right?), he has been great this week. He is finally napping like he should be and sleeping at night. Needless to say, after getting 8 hours of sleep at night, its hard to go back:) But thankfully if Noah gets better sleep, Mommy and Daddy get better sleep!
In several of these pictures, it appears that I have posed him, but I promise that these pictures are all Noah. I point the camera and he just does his thing:) We had professional pictures taken a couple weeks ago, so maybe he is reliving those pictures.

We are trying to keep Noah away from the TV, but there are times that he cranes his neck just so that he can see it. Aaron was watching golf this weekend and of course, Noah had to be included:) I put him on his tummy and instantly his head went to the TV.
A side note for Poppi& Langness boys-he may be more cut out for golf than we ever imagined:)

He was helping me cook dinner the other night.

"I love you thiiiiis much!"

On the days when the sun isn't around, his smile becomes my sunshine:)

!!!!!HAPPY EASTER!!!!

The angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Matthew 28: 5 & 6

Isn't it great to know that the story didn't end with Jesus on the cross? We just finished watching The Nativity Story that just came out on video and now with Noah, I can understand more clearly the gift that Mary was asked to look after. And to think that he gave it all up to come down here so that we might live with him eternally. I hope you all enjoy a very blessed day today and are reminded of just how amazing that the story continued after the cross.

I love to look at his toes and think of where they will take him someday:)

"Reach out and touch someone" :)

What's up homies? (He's giving you the I love you sign)

We love to stick everything in our mouth

We couldn't stop him from eating the bubbles:)

Don't they just look like a mischievous pair?!?!?:)

Its been a quiet week, not a whole lot going on. Noah is of course, growing by leaps and bounds and investigating his world. Its fun to watch him learn new things. Below are some pics from the week and some video fun too:)
"Ah, morning. It's tough being little"

"The background changes but I think I'll stick with this pose"

"My new rattle for Easter from my Illinois Fan Club. Thanks and I can't wait to see you again"

"I have my hat, now where's the sun?????
