Daily life of Breven

Wanna know what I do every day?
Make sure Mama gets me dressed. Think this is okay?
Have Daddy had to change my clothes after I got the last ones dirty.
Sneak in some snuggle time with Mama...
...Daddy,
...and some time with Noah too.
Try to decide about what to have for lunch....such a difficult decision! Being Chief No Clothes isn't easy!!:)
Finish a little blog work with Mama.
Eat a snack.
This biscuit is so yummy!
Get a little crazy with Noah. We like dancing together.
Cheer Noah on while he gets a little work done.
Spend the rest of the evening smiling and charming Mama and Daddy

Breven's newest milestones

Look who's sitting up!!!!
Hiya! Look what I can do!
Its taken lots of practice...
and hard work...
but you know...I finally figured it out. And just think of all I can do know that I can sit up. I just hope Noah doesn't come and knock me down!
And he has his first tooth! No wonder he's been so cranky!:)
(So you can't really see it, but I promise its there, just like his big brother Noah.)

The never ending conversation

Here is a conversation Noah and I had the other day that is so typical of our conversations these days. They seem to go around and around...there is no ending!! But apparently, its pay backs since I used to do the same thing to my parents. So...Mom and Dad. Sorry for all those silly questions.
Me-"Oh, man! Grr." (a glass tipped on its side and broke)
Noah-What you do?
M-I broke a cup.
N-Why you break a cup?
M-Because it fell.
N-Why did it fell?
M-Because it slipped.
N-Why it slipped?
M-silence
N-What you doing?
M-Throwing it away
N-Why you throwing it away?
M-Because you can't drink out of it anymore
N-Why can't you drink out of it anymore?
M-Why do you think we can't drink out of it anymore?
N-But why you can't drink out of it anymore?
M-(I give up!!!)

Many faces

Here is a very random post of pics that I just wanted to share with you. My boys are both at such a fun age!
Noah is talking, exploring, learning, and still very insistent that corn dogs are the only true food:) He has found that he really likes to sing. He gets out his microphone and guitar and at the top of his lungs starts singing "My name is Noah. My name is Nooaaahhhh". Apparently all those Veggie Tale lyrics we have listened to haven't stuck yet.
And it is hard to believe that Breven is 6 months old!! Where does the time go?!?!?! He is such a serious baby-there are times he doesn't break his serious face for anything. But when you do get a smile, its so wonderful that you'll do anything to keep him smiling. You can tell that he adores Noah and watches him all the time. His poor, little head often looks as though he is watching a tennis match as he follows Noah bouncing around the room.:) He is doing really well with the baby food and just yesterday we started fruit-blueberries! And he LOVES them. He has developed the same baby bird antics that Noah used to do when he liked what he was eating. That little mouth is wide open the second you get the spoon away from his mouth, ready for more:)
Noah is such a good big brother. He is very patient with Breven and loves to talk to him
.
My happy (albeit clothes less) 6 month old.
Mama and her sunshine.
One blessed Mama. Where would I be without these 2?
And I couldn't resist putting him back in this outfit before he outgrows it. He's just too cute. I'm ready for the cold just so that I can put him in this more often.:) (Otherwise, the warm weather is welcome to stay as LONG as it likes!)
Hard to believe my little duck is already able to stand up like this, if only for a moment.
And whats a kitchen sink for if it hasn't had a baby in it every now and then.
His smiles get me every time!
Couldn't you just kiss those little chubby cheeks?!?!?
And in typical Noah fashion, he's so busy playing with his fire trucks and cars that he hasn't taken the time to get dressed for the day. Atleast he's having fun!!

A tale of parks and sprinklers

Oh...I'm so glad I caught you!
I wanted to tell you about a few recent excursions (big word, huh?) we've gone on lately...
We went picking blueberries with some other families and had a picnic in the park afterwards.
Mommy and I even got a picture together. Isn't she beautiful?!?!
And then I was really sad.
Because all the big kids got to go on the playground and play on the bridge, except me!
And then wait! Let me tell you what else I couldn't do...
Noah got to play in the sprinklers!
And I couldn't! I had to watch him have all the fun....when's it going to be my turn?!?!
Doesn't that look like so much fun!?!?
But Mama told me not to worry. She said I'd get a chance later. And I'm definitely going to take her up on it!

Daddy and Breven

Hi, Daddy. Can I feel your hair?
(love, love, LOVE Aaron's expression!) I think Breven's teething so he clamps down on anything within reach.
2 cuties!

Swinging

We LOVE our swingset that some friends gave us and we are finally getting to a point to really enjoy it. The weather has been beautiful so we are out there even more. Noah loves this swing, he insists on being pushed higher and higher. Perhaps we have a daredevil on our hands?
But he is nice enough to give Breven a turn too.
And he'll push him and even give him an "underwear dog" (as he calls them:))

Photo shoot

Noah is so patient with Breven...even when it comes to his special hat. Let's just hope that patience continues.
My heart will never recover!
So I started messing with our photo program. This could get addicting!
He's ready for his abercrombie contract!!! (hahaha)
