We have had several very busy days! Lolli and Poppi flew in for the weekend and we had so much fun with them. Although, the weekend seemed to fly by! Poppi and Daddy enjoyed several rounds of golf while Lolli & Mommy taught Noah more of the fundamentals of shopping and pedicures...I think we have Noah salivating for his first pedicure:)

We also enjoyed lots of family time and game time. Noah kept all of us on our toes and enjoyed showing Lolli and Poppi all of his latest tricks. He also showed them all of the fun places to play in the house...a.k.a. the trouble areas.

Daddy and Noah bonding after work.

Noah can always make the Poppi smile:):)

And he can make the Lolli smile too!

Noah wanted to tell you just how much he loves his Lolli and Poppi!

Enjoying some chicken noodle soup. He loves to be eating adult food too!

Family picture!!! (Notice the beautiful leaves in the background!)

I do believe Lolli and Poppi finally wore me out!

Which will make my day more, Lolli & Poppi or my orange?!?!?!

He is actually STANDING all by himself! He can stand for several seconds now. YIKES! Next comes the walker...and Noah has already proved that he loves a challenge in finding ways to keep Mommy busy.

Love for one Mommy from her son. We love you Lolli & Poppi and miss you already! Hurry back!

We've had a couple of really busy days. Aaron was away for several days, but don't worry. We weren't sitting at home twiddling our thumbs. No, sir! We were out and about going a thousand miles an hour. Sunday we enjoyed time with our small group. Monday, we ran errands and spent lunch and part of the afternoon with some friends. And that night, I met another friend for dinner.
Tuesday, we spent a day at home and then a friends husband volunteered to watch Noah so I could enjoy a night out with the ladies. It was nice to get out.
Wednesday (my birthday:)) I met some friends for lunch and then we went to a pumpkin farm. It was really cold, but fun to see all the boys running around picking out the best pumpkin. Noah even picked out his own pumpkin:) Of Course, he couldn't seem to help himself from trying to stick it in his mouth, but I suppose, thats what must occur to truely understand what a pumpkin is:) Here are the pics from our week...

Noah insisted on helping Daddy install the childproof locks. He climbed in Daddy's lap and helped himself to the tools.

I had to post this picture because it is a close a reflection of Indiana falls as I can get. Its AMAZING! One tree can be green, yellow and red all at the same time.

My good friends, Rita and Lai! Thanks for spending the day with me guys!!!!

The boys thought these were great. They thought they'd be great for weight lifting.

The boys loved to play with Noah.

They had this giant pumpkin so the kids could stick their heads out. Even Noah got a shot at it.

I thought the boys did a good job of taking pictures:)

More silly boys!!
Noah's Pumpkin!!!

This is the proof that we went to Chipotle for dinner on my birthday...no other food would do!!!:)

Here are the videos of the week... Noah decided he wanted to talk to Daddy while Daddy mowed. He stayed at the window for quite a while. We needed to wash Noah's blanket desperately, but he wasn't so sure. He found it amidst the pile of dirty clothes about to go in the washer and then watched as I stuffed it in. He was pretty upset but he looks so big in the video! He's found a new way to get around. The only problem is when he gets into a corner:)

Our little boy is growing like crazy. I love watching him learn and understand. He knows what to do when we say "Wave/Say goodbye". And when he's in the mood:) he can give kisses. He loves to be chased and I love to watch those little legs crawl as fast as they can when I say I'm going to come get him:)
We are trying to move his bedtime, which means I'm trying to move naptimes too. Yesterday, we had been playing/working outside and I had just brought him inside to clean him up and change his diaper. Once I was finished he still had half an hour until naptime, so I put him down in his room so he could play while I cleaned things up. He headed straight for his crib, started to climb up and wimper. Wait, what?!?!? He actually wanted to go to bed?!?! I put him in his crib and before I walked out the door, I think he was out:) AMAZING!

Daddy and Noah playing

This one's for you, Noni!:) He finally did it again instead of collapsing into a puddle.

Noah found a new toy

Noah does this thing where he clenches up his whole body and sometimes does it at funny times. Just as I was taking this picture, Noah decided to clench up and in the process, started yanking Aaron's hair:) We're hoping Aaron's hair will outlast Noah's clenching.

Another sighting of Chief No Clothes!!! ( I think he's asking God for help in dealing with his crazy parents:))

Our Zoo trip

We went to the Ft. Wayne zoo with out friends, PJ, Lai and Bowen and had so much fun...below are the pics from our adventure.. This picture makes Noah look like such a little boy, no longer a baby! YIKES!!!

We got to watch them feed the seals...Noah really wasn't impressed.

Our wonderful friends...

Who can really be silly sometimes!!!

A rare picture of Aaron and I

Caught by surprise!

Noah wanted to be silly too!

Warm Weather

We have been having amazing weather. Temps have been in the 80's! I LOVE IT! But all good things must come to an end. We are finally getting the normal October weather.
Noah is getting more and more curious, getting into everything he can find. So that means. my days are a bit busier, trying to get things done and keep a hawk-eye watch on him:) But I love to see him explore.

He loves to watch the action of the neighborhood and hopefully see a dog too:)

Can't you just hear him say- This is my daddy...back off!

Getting ready for bathtime...I love to see the 2 heads put together playing.

Noah LOVED the packing peanuts. Although I had to wrestle them away from him since he kept putting them in his mouth.

This is how I am greeted after every nap and first thing in the morning. He definitely isn't afraid to let you know he's up!:)

For you are great and do marvelous deeds; you alone are God. Teach me your way, O LORD, and I will walk in your truth; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name. I will praise you, O Lord my God, with all my heart; I will glorify your name forever. For great is your love toward me; you have delivered me from the depths of the grave. Psalm 86:10-13

When I went for a walk outside the house yesterday, I discovered something. A precious gift from God to me. There haven't been any blooms on my hydrangea plants for the last couple of years because someone misinformed me as to the proper care of the plant. I have been so sad, but I was so excited to see I finally have a blossom!!! God gives us little gifts to remind us that he is in control and how great his love that he would do something so small and insignificant to many, but special to me.
Thank you Lord that you would love me that much!
