For the love of dirt...

Genesis 3:17-18

To Adam he said, "Because you listened to your wife and ate from the tree about which I commanded you, 'You must not eat of it,' "Cursed is the ground because of you, through painful toil you will eat of it all the days of your life.

When God commanded that Adam would have to work the ground, I think God must have also placed in man something of a love/hate relationship for it. Yes, it entails lots of hard work, but at times they are also drawn to the dirt, the worms and anything else they can spot within that soil.
And so, begins my own sons love...all he has wanted to do in the few times we have been able to get outdoors is spoon shovelfuls of dirt into his sandpail or dumptruck. And the little boy next door also has the same love, so when the two get together, they have a ball.

We have lots of dirt...and water...and balloons...we could have a great time outside! Has Noah discovered worms yet...
Love you

Not quite yet. Our neighbor friend is very interested and has started pointing them out to Noah. I'm sure by the end of summer, he'll be bringing to me.
