Noah's love of construction equipment
HI! Can you guess where I am? No? Okay, I'll show you...
Ta Da!!!! Pretty cool, right?
Mr. Dan and Miss Rita have the coolest skid loader! It was so much fun to sit in it, but I don't like it when they turn it on. Its too loud!! And then I have to plug my ears.
Hey, I just thought of something...I know what I want to be when I get older..a construction equipment babysitter! Whenever you need someone to watch your tractor, or excavator or backhoe, just call me and I'll come it in it til you get back!
(what a brilliant idea...I'd better go tell Mommy)

My personal record!
Oh, and by the way...
I got all three of us fed, dressed and ready for church on Sunday in 45 minutes!!! (Aaron stayed home sick)
Take that, Emily of the past-who used to take 1 hour to get her self ready. Guess all that time really wasn't necessary!!!!

My March Madness
My life has been so much fun! Noah is such a helper and loves to play. Breven is still sleeping so much, and when he isn't sleeping, he's really happy and smiley. I just can't believe how fast the days are going! Breven will be 2 months old next week! WOW!!
I do have to say...We just got back from our first trip to the store as a three-some and we made it!! No melt downs, one trip to the bathroom and one bag of fruitsnacks later:) (Okay, I think I'm finally ready to take on the world with these 2 little boys all by myself!)
You know, I have had MANY people comment on how many photos of Noah we have taken and how hard it will be to keep it up with Breven. I am bound and determined to take a TON of pics of both boys. But I didn't realize it would be so hard when all Breven wants to do is sleep. I mean...how many pics of a sleeping baby does one need?!?!:)
This has been our week. Noah discovered these lego blocks downstairs and loves to have Mommy or Daddy help build a tower so he can park his cars in it. He seems to play with one thing for days at a time and then won't play with it again for a while.
Does this face make me look studious, Mommy?
HAHA! I just can't keep a straight face for very long:)
(This was one of Papa's favorite outfits for Noah and we just had to take a pic for him of Breven. Its hard to believe Noah wore this 2 years ago for Uncle Micah and Auntie Chicku's wedding!)
Doesn't he look like such a big boy? He doesn't sit in it for long, but its fun to have him sit at the table with us for meals:)
I love that Breven looks like he is studying Noah, waiting for the next great idea for them to put into action. (Oh, just wait....I can already tell my hands will be full in the near future:):))
Noah loves to talk to Breven. In fact, Noah has been sick this week so we have been trying to keep the boys apart to keep from Breven getting sick too. Noah hasn't liked that at all and will often remind me "I'm not sick, Mommy" (Oh, yes you are Noah, now stop breathing all over your brothers face!!)
So, its not the greatest self portrait, but you get the idea. Mommy and her love-bug:)
And I never tire of this smile! It make my job so rewarding!!

Chief No Clothes and Chief in training
Chief No Clothes here...back from an extended hiatus. I just wanted to introduce to you, my Chief in Training. Go easy on him, he's still a work in progress (some are easier to teach than others)
Hey!! Who said I had to be naked?!?! I'M COLD!! Can't I have another name?

A view from below
Isn't he just the best Daddy in the whole entire world?
I just love it when we men can hang out together. Noah loves to read books and I gotta say, I don't mind it either.
Think I could pass for a real cowboy?
As long as I'm at it, might as well act like a real cowboy...whatcha think?
This is my big brother on his new big wheel. I can't wait to be just like him.
Me and my friend, Mr. Monkey
Hey, we look like twins! Well, okay, atleast brothers?!:)

Library Rituals
Well, we took our first outing as a threesome today to the library. Noah and Breven did great! We even ran into a friend and were able to catch up with her and her kids!
And of course, after a good trip to the library, whats the first thing you should do? Why, dump the books out and read them all, of course!!

St. Patricks Day
Breven here with a message for you:
Mommy wanted me to wish everyone a happy St. Patricks Day (whatever that means).
She keeps talking about getting pinched...can anyone tell me what that means?!?!
But why would I want anyone to kiss me but you, Mommy?
Okay, I'll take the picture. How do I look like this?
Wait...I think I like this one even better, Mommy
How about a 2 for 1 instead?
I thought this was a funny one of Noah...he looks scared to get a kiss too. Don't worry Noah, Mommy says its only for the picture. You don't have to really kiss anyone else.

My boys
Every day I get to spend with my boys is another wonderful day:) There are moments that I still can't believe that I am a mother of 2!!! Isn't their mom coming to pick them up in a couple of hours?!?!:) Yes, there are times I still feel like I'm just the babysitter, but I am so thankful I'm not!:) I loved babysitting, but I love being a mom so much more! Right now, one of the said mentioned boys is conked out in his room and the other is sleeping peacefully next to me. I love my life!
While being a challenge, Noah is doing amazingly well. Aaron and I were just commenting on how strange it is to be able to hold a conversation with our 2 year old! He definitely conveys his thoughts and feelings. And its nice to see all the hard work start to pay off as he is more and more polite, well behaved and potty trained! We went out last night to run some errands and we didn't have any melt downs! Thats a huge blessing (that and the fact that his pants stayed dry the whole time we were gone!!) YIPPIE!!
Breven is still our little sleeper. He had a rough night and kept me up from 3 on the other night, but then last night slept a couple of extra hours before his middle of the night feeding. The difference a couple of straight hours of sleep can make! I look at pics of N at the same age and am amazed by how much more of a sleeper Breven is. And when he is awake, he loves to just hang out.
And the boys together...I can tell I'll have my hands full when Breven gets older, but I'm enjoying their interations now. Noah is great at talking to Breven and reassuring him when he starts to cry.
And I couldn't ask for a better husband. I love to watch how much he cares for our boys and how good he is with them. There's no one else I'd rather go through this life with then you, sweetie!
Okay, enough gushing...on to the pics of the week~
My little construction worker...he even has the phone thing down:)
Deep in thought about what to do next in his busy day
Mommy and Noah kept entertained by making trains with all of our change.
He is starting to smile!!:)
A new way to manage both boys...

Week 1 down...one lifetime to go
We survived!!!!!
And would you believe it, Mommy didn't ruin either of us! (atleast not yet:))
Noah was trying to play with Breven...but it looks like it will be a while before Breven will push the truck back to Noah:)
Noah loves to get as close to Breven as he can get:) (note: you know, I am bound and determined that Breven will have as many pics of him as we have of Noah. The only problem is that Noah will also be in every single one:) Thats the difference of the first and second born.)
Noah is constantly asking to hold Breven. I'm just glad he has accepted Breven, so hold him all you want, Noah. But only as long as Mommy or Daddy can help:)
We have been spending a lot of time like this throughout the week. Reading books and snuggling has never been so much fun.
And of course, what Noah does with Mommy, he also wants to do with Daddy...only this time, lets add a sucker into the mix. There's no competing with a sucker:)
I don't think he understands that by dress up, you can't dress up as a block by using the block box.:)
I took this picture to show just how little Breven is. He is still in newborn clothes! This is a 0-3 month outfit that still swims on him! I think Noah only wore Newborn clothes for the first few days!
And a little proof that Breven has his moments too:)
This is how we give Breven a bath. I love to help Mommy and play with Breven.
Lolli with her grandsons
Ohhh..what a great picture! That one's definitely a keeper!
