They arrived!!! We drove to Chicago to pick up my parents and Noah talked the WHOLE way to get them. I don't know if even stopped to breathe!
But they made it and in typical Nonni fashion, she made it memorable by wearing tons of mardi gras beads. Noah loved it and wanted to wear them all...
He adores his Papa, can you tell?

We stopped for lunch along the way and had fun catching up.
Breven enjoyed lunch so much, he wore most of it. All that was missing was the hose to spray him off with.
Can you just see the glue begin to harden that kept these 2 together all week long?
And whats a week without a little humor? He actually got stuck!

(and true to form, the weather was dreary the day they arrived and the day they left, but the days in between were some of the best we've had in the last couple of months.)
